There's My Race Car!

So, we were watching the race yesterday and Charlie practically flipped out when he saw "his" race car on TV. (Obviously, Charlie has several No. 14 cars that he loves to play with so he thinks that Uncle Tony drives "his" cars.)

He was even more excited when he saw that Uncle Tony was "leading that people!" (Yes, we need to work on our grammar a bit.)

Anyway, I love this video because of Charlie's total excitement, but also because you get a glimpse into what it's like to live with NoChase. You'll see him streak across the background toward the end of the video. Classic NoChase - risking life and limb to do something he knows he isn't supposed to do.

And, the reason NoChase isn't wearing pants? Because I was tired and it wasn't a battle worth fighting. (Imagine trying to put a diaper on a Sumo wrestler...)

Oh, and you also get to see how two crazed monkey toddlers have trashed my house by the end of the day. Joy.

Ok. Enough rambling. Enjoy!

Ready for His Close-Up

Charlie has pictures at school today, so we dressed him in his Spring finest. What a big boy he is! He's ready for his close-up.

CHEESE!

I think Chase was feeling a little left out.

But, Charlie made him feel better with a big kiki!
How sweet!

No Particular Reason

I have no particular reason for posting this blog other than the fact that I took a couple of cute pictures of the boys today. That's it. Nothing more.

Enjoy!

Doesn't he look a bit mischievous?

Isn't this a sweet photo?

I like how the light is bouncing off of Charlie's hair.

Look who else is starting to love trucks! It's true!

But more than trucks, Chase LOVES books.
(Of course, this book is about trucks, so there you go!)

Charlie was excited to tell me that he just went to the potty.
It's the little things in life, isn't it?

Oh, Brother!

I think I deserve an award. I managed to get my boys to sit beside each other for about five minutes this evening! Can you believe it?

And look at these fun pictures I was able to capture! Can't you just imagine how much fun they were having? Both boys were laughing the entire time. Love, Love, LOVE!

Can't you just see the boys sitting like this in about 20 years... catching up of life?

The race is in Bristol this weekend, but Dada was able to stay for dinner before hitting the road.
Chase was really happy about that!

Shelby... plotting her escape.

Adorable.

And here they are, sitting together!

Kikis!

A mother loves to see her kids give each other kikis!

Chase says, "Ok, enough Charlie!"

I really have no idea what they're laughing about, which makes it even better!
Just brothers... laughing it up... for no reason.

Pure happiness!

And here's a picture from behind. You know those are my favorite!

Who has the upper hand here?

I just love the fact that I have two boys and that they are so close in age. I think they will be best friends forever!

Big Bro, Little Bro

Yes, my boys have matching Big Brother, Little Brother t-shirts. I can't help it. I'm a sucker for stuff like that. Plus, they can only get away with wearing matching clothing when they're little.

However, I was not going to dress them in the same shirts yesterday, but when Charlie saw Chase wearing his Little Bro shirt, Charlie wanted to wear his Big Bro shirt! What can I say? I was happy to oblige. :)

Aren't they cute?

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

We live in THE BEST neighborhood. On a beautiful day like today, you can always find someone outside playing in their yard. Today, we headed down to Cooper and Samantha's house (which is where we usually end up). I brought my camera with me this time and took, what I think are, some amazing pictures.

Here are a few of my favorites.

This is Hailey. She's Cooper and Samantha's older sister. Isn't she cute?
I love the lighting in this picture.

What a great picture of Mike!

Charlie's getting a ride from Samantha. He's very chivalrous.

Shelby and Jasmine... doggie kisses.

That's Cristene in the middle. I love this picture!

This is my friend, Erin. She does yoga at 6:00 am with me.
Isn't she pretty?

Another great picture of Charlie.

And this just might be my all-time favorite picture I've ever taken.
Isn't it fabulous? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PICTURE!

This is Cooper, enjoying the beautiful day.

He's a cutie too!

Charlie was here.

A rare photo of Mama. She DOES exist!

And this adorable one is Max. He's Erin's youngest, born 2-months after Chase.

Love this one too!

I think this photo is absolutely adorable!

And this one too! Wow, I had fun today.
